I work as an advocate for equal rights for the people of the District of Columbia; I mantain an office in City Hall where I work with the Mayor and DC Council on issues that affect the District at the national level. I lobby Congress on behalf of my constituents and help lead a national effort to gain statehood for the Nation's Capital. In 2014 I testified.
