I am passionate about delivering high quality technical cost estimates that support project stakeholders making critical decisions from the point of project conception to project closeout. My cost estimates are understandable and verifiable by designers and owners.I love collaborating in high performance team environments where Continuous Improvement Processes, etc are part of the everyday work environment. I like to understand how things work, so I am continuously educating myself. When I work on a project I drill into how things work whether it is a wastewater treatment plant, light-rail, airport or a NASA rocket test stand. I consider myself a technologist by education and career path. My Myers-Briggs type is a classic INTP, I am a critical thinker and problem solver. A very common performance review comment during my career is that I assimilate large volumes of unstructured data and sort it out into understandable linear solution paths.I am a serious kind of guy but I do not take myself too seriously and enjoy laughing at my own foibles while I work hard on self improvement.I have multiple hobbies and interests typically around building things or understanding how things came to be like how early machinist/instrument makers make metal straight and learning how to replicate their process.
