While I was with Bargreen Ellingson, I managed or helped manage multiple high-profile accounts, worked closely with some of Seattle’s best-known chefs and restauranteurs, greeted and assisted customers in the showroom, acquired expert knowledge of thousands of products across multiple categories, processed “daily operations” orders for next day delivery, sourced specialty items, arranged equipment repair services and returns, fielded and triaged incoming phone calls to determine who the customer needed to speak with, designed tabletops and kitchen equipment layouts, ensured that “last-minute, emergency” orders were processed through Purchasing in a timely manner, maintained extensive customer files, acted as primary point of contact and referred clients to appropriate internal departments or outside service providers, provided quotes for anything from a single case of china or countertop stand mixer to complete restaurant openings including front-and-back-of-the-house, assisted with the openings of multiple new restaurants & bars around town while maintaining discretion and secrecy if requested by the client, and worked to find the best solution for my clients even if it meant not landing an order.
