Hello there, and welcome to my page. Thanks for visiting.I am a communications consultant, media content producer, and philanthropist. For over twenty years, I have been helping businesses create outreach with impact, delivering live broadcast television within a fast-paced environment and establishing inclusive game spaces for young people.Within all three of these realms, I value most the telling of a great story. It is essential for impact, and it is especially invaluable when a person tells that story to the credit of a company, person, or humanitarian initiative. It's one thing for businesses to say they are great on Facebook, but it's another when a customer makes that claim. Great stories get you there, and it is game-changing when you don't have to be your own voice. With a great story, people become tipping points for something by choice, and that is when having 20,000 or even a million followers on a social media platform is most effective. That is why my mantra for meaningful communication is to first and foremost delight a few people beyond expectation - then we can please the masses by way of their engagement. Only then is a message echoed throughout.I have not intentionally built this profile to seek out a change in my career path, but if a redirection were to happen, I am okay with that outcome. What I really want to do here mostly is talk about a project I created in 2017 called The Playroom Experiment. It leans on the power of gaming to lift up the life of anyone (primarily young people) still looking to find their place of belonging. It can often center on those living with special needs and/or struggling with social isolation.I'm excited about the road ahead, being here, and making these new connections along the way.Warmest regards to everyone.Mike
