- Founding staff member; built and led bipartisan business coalition to promote passage of comprehensive immigration reform; members included senior leadership of organizations including Exelon Corporation, Motorola Solutions, Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Illinois Farm Bureau and ICIRR. - Executed media communications strategy that generated more than sixty news articles, op-eds, editorials and radio and television stories in national, state and local media between January and August 2013 - Organized public events and panels throughout Illinois featuring local business leaders- Raised $115,500 in individual and corporate contributions; hired and supervised two staff members- Developed and executed political strategy in coordination with IBIC Co-Chairs and Steering Committee members

-Managed phone and mail communications directed at Latino voters to generate support for 7 pro-immigrant candidates-Oversaw messaging, design, and implementation for 12-piece, $23,134 mail program reaching nearly 10,000 voters-Hired 52 phone bankers; managed 10-day phone bank operation that made nearly 45,000 phone calls to 17,776 voters -Filed expenditure reports with Federal Elections Commission and Illinois State Board of Elections-Established Illinois Immigrant Action PAC, labeled a “big winner” by Capitol Fax

-Was lead coordinator for 2nd Annual ICIRR Fundraiser; event generated net revenue of $100,000 + and 500 + attendance-Developed event fundraising strategy and managed fundraising campaign in coordination with CEO, Development Director, all organizational staff, and Development Committee composed of ICIRR board members and community leaders -Was lead coordinator for successful foundation grant applications representing $620,000 in funding, including $20,000 in new funding; provided support for an additional grant application resulting in $35,000 in funding

-Managed leadership development program placing aspiring social change agents in positions with Chicago nonprofits -Developed and implemented curriculum exploring social change strategies, tools for spiritual and emotional sustainability, and connections between service work and Jewish thought, values and tradition-Directed participant interview and hiring process in coordination with sixteen host organizations -Identified and screened potential host organizations through site visits and staff interviews

-In part-time position (paid July-August, volunteer August-November) coordinated volunteer recruitment and field operations for state and federal Democratic campaigns in New Trier Township in Chicago’s North Shore suburbs-Managed team of twelve regional coordinators responsible for organizing volunteers across township

-Managed two teams of three to eight volunteers for voter registration and turnout campaign-Coordinated activities with student leaders on college campuses in Wilberforce and Cleveland, Ohio-Registered hundreds of new and unlikely voters and delivered them to the polls

-Organized public meeting on Southwest Side of Chicago for campaign to regulate diesel particulate emissions-Ran local branch of national campaign opposing escalation of Iraq War in Illinois’ 10th Congressional District-Organized town hall meeting of over seven hundred 10th Congressional District residents, military families, and Iraq War veterans; speakers included Representative Jan Schakowsky of Illinois’ 9th Congressional District
