Worked at Caterpillar in Advanced Materials Technology for the Bradley Practicum. Used Pro/E to design unique fixtures for a materials testing expert to test uncommon parts. Worked on a multifunctional team to design and create new products. Used Instron electromechanical and servo hydraulic systems to evaluate mechanical properties of materials in tension, compression, and fatigue. Built various fixtures to solve problems in labs throughout my division, including container structures, adjustable pyrometer holders, and triple axis linear drive systems.

Replaced or fixed all major mechanical and electrical components of Amphicars.Cosmetic restoration included fabricating and replacing metal panels, applying primer, body filler and painting.
