Managed small projects where I developed the electrical and control systems to improve safety, maximise throughput and reduce costs. Examples of the smaller projects are; a boom protection system for ship loaders, a ship monitoring system to prevent break-away vessels, Car dumper changes to support varying rake configurations.I was solely responsible for the electrical and control operational readiness of one ship loader, and later on was seconded to supervise the hand-over of two ship loaders with their associated sample stations and conveyor systems, 3 additional positioner arms for the car dumpers in Port Hedland.
