I am a 2010 summa cum laude graduate of the Haslam College of Business' Full-Time MBA Program at the University of TN, Knoxville with concentrations in Real Estate Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. I continue to be heavily involved with my Alma Mater and in November of 2017 I was blessed to be recognized as the Haslam College of Business' 2017 Outstanding Young Alumni.My professional career began in the early 2000s with over six years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Banking for the South's two largest super-regional banks. By the end of my tenures I had become an Assistant Vice President focusing in the areas of portfolio management, risk analysis and project viability. I continued on this path until 2009, when I began pursuit of my Master's Degree.In 2010 I completed my MBA internship with the Lawler-Wood Group, focusing on valuation models for various mixed-use and medical projects in Commercial Real Estate across the southeast. In January 2011, I accepted a position as an Affiliate Broker at (what was then known as) Wood Properties, Inc., with a primary focus on industrial properties and land development. Over the past seven years with legacy-WPI I have brokered transactions with multiple Fortune 500 companies, with total transaction values surpassing 10 million dollars. In February 2018, Wood Properties aligned with SVN to become SVN | Wood Properties. In November 2018, I transitioned out from SVN | WP to join EXIT Realty Pros which allowed me the freedom to focus more on my desire to work in real estate financial consulting and project viability, in addition to just brokerage.In January of 2022, after several years of ultra low vacancies in the Industrial RE Market of the Knoxville MSA which has made transactions extremely difficult, I decided to join Citizens Bank, on a part-time basis, as a Real Estate Portfolio Manager, rekindling a skill set I last focused on nearly 15 years ago.In February 2024 I transitioned my Real Estate license from EXIT Realty Pros to Knox Valley Realty to allow the continued partnership with several long time coworkers and business partners.
