Our family business was established in 1970 specializing in sales for materials and equipment for artists and designers. Throughout time, we have not only enjoyed building relationships with the trade, however bridging those times with artists of all ages, teachers and collegiate/university faculty as well. Since 1980’s we have passionately been involved in the writing instruments category. From all types of pencils and markers to gel, pens, and journals we share a fascination with the connection of magical proportions. This connection extends to” fine writing instruments”— especially collectible and enjoyable, fountain pens, and inks.An extension of the hand, we have been intimately involved, other creative tools, such as artist brushes, and even airbrushes. As such we have been able to build brands that have succesfully endured and succeeded throughout generations.We still consider ourselves a work in progress and are now being lead by a third generation family member, my son, Abe Hammer (who has recently become President).
