The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is a $10 billion green fund dedicated to investing with commercial rigor to increase the flow of finance into renewable energy, energy efficiency and low emissions technologies.The CEFC has the capacity to provide financing of up to $300m for 'whole of building' and/or portfolio financings, on the basis that part of this funding is used to drive enhanced energy efficiency and clean energy initiatives. The CEFC can provide financing across a range of commercial and residential sectors.With a National focus, my role sees me developing and structuring direct investments (including equity, green debt, project and corporate finance) across the Property sector to encourage investment in renewable energy, low-emissions technologies and energy efficiency.

As a Relationship Executive with the Commonwealth Bank Corporate Finance Services I managed a $600m portfolio encompassing property investors and developers providing them with strategic financial solutions enhanced by a personalised business relationship and a core understanding of the property market’s key drivers. As a key capital provider for both construction and investment projects, I was involved throughout the project’s whole lifecycle. Inherent in the role was the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and harness the skills of external consultants to both ensure project outcomes and manage risks on behalf of the capital. Through this process I proved an ability to effectively coordinate with professionals from legal, construction, valuation and estimation sectors with competing priorities and differing deadlines.On a daily basis I was tasked with guiding and mentoring my team in relation to sales strategy, loan scenarios, credit analysis, loan process, relationship management and Banking policies & procedures to ensure we met & exceeded our budgets while maintaining a compliant property portfolio.I catered for clients with property debt requirements of $10m - $200m across property investment (office, industrial and retail) and development (medium and high rise residential projects) transactions in South-East Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast).

AMW is a boutique property investment Bank with around 100 staff nationally specialising in property finance solutions for investment and development clients, property funds management and mezzanine & equity investment.My role consisted of identifying new business opportunities with potential clients in all property sectors, structuring terms and conditions of complex transactions, liaising with Banks and Financial Institutions to approve loans and terms of finance. Managing relationships with Clients, Lenders, Consultants and Lawyers throughout the loan approval process was also an integral responsibility. Also the analysis of potential acquisition and joint venture transactions across all sectors of property development and investment which included conducting feasibility studies and engaging in a range of financial modelling scenarios.
