I streamlined the existing agile development process to shorten time to market for new products.Directed the launch of multiple new online payment processing product offerings from inception to production. Most notably a Payment Plan product for billers to offer their clients the capability to spread obligations over a period of time. The architecture required all components to be decoupled to allow for changing infrastructure. Highlights include dynamic profile management, calendaring and scheduling components, configurable notifications engine, real-time and file based client data integration options, PCI compliant security of sensitive information and a client configuration and management portal.

Designed and developed a hosted, n-tier solution to manage all data and documents required by public health programs, providing a rich user interface to analyze and query data, generate reports and printable presentations, and manage complex data flows in a user-friendly manner. The primary business challenges involved the management, integration and cross-analysis of disparate data sources and the extremely compressed market delivery schedule. As CTO of a small company I was directly involved in all IT roles as necessary including Software/Database architecture and implementation, Product Management, Requirements Specification, Client Relations, Quality Assurance, Security, Documentation, and hardware/hosting infrastructure acquisition and maintenance. The solution gained national recognition for innovation.

Participated in the Architectural Steering and Implementation Committees to integrate disparate redundant payment processing platforms obtained through company acquisitions. Developed a common security infrastructure to span the enterprise for user and application identification and authentication despite differing security formats, protocols and methodologies using an extensible XML interface and by extending the Microsoft Security Framework to support secure, n-tier, SaaS communication. Followed an Agile methodology and used SCRUM to aid rapid feature development.Lead Architect, Scrum Master and Lead developer for a dynamic payment portal capable of delivering an entirely customized user experience on the fly based on client configuration. Branding, skinning, page content, page flow, work flow, business and validation rules, and real-time interfaces were entirely variable and highly customizable reducing new client implementation from months to days. XML, XSL, XHTML, YUI, JQuery, AJAX, Web services, WCF, Interfaces, and a concrete separation of layers and responsibility facilitated the degree to which the components were efficient, secure, extensible and still dynamic.Architect and Developer of a payment kiosk solution and centralized terminal management system. Developed a simple touch-screen interface for a variety of payment kiosk applications that interfaced with our proprietary payment interface over WAN, WLAN, or the internet to track payments, update billing authorities for time-sensitive payments, track bill and payment history, report terminal status including real-time printer ink and paper status, bill acceptor status and capacity, connectivity, and hardware and software diagnostics. Developed a centralized interface to maintain an entire network of kiosk terminals remotely including applying software updates or operating system patches, taking the kiosk online/offline, and running data, statistical, and analysis reports dynamically.
