As the Director of Government Affairs at Ag Processing, Inc. (AGP), I am responsible for developing and executing the legislative and regulatory strategy across AGP's five-state trade territory and in Washington, DC. I have over eight years of experience in public affairs and government relations, working with various stakeholders and policymakers to advocate for the interests of farmers and the soybean industry. I bring strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and issue management skills to the role, which I honed as the Senior Director of Public Affairs at the Iowa Soybean Association. Prior to ISA, I served as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, where I gained valuable insight into the legislative process and the issues affecting the agricultural sector. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Life Sciences Education (Communications) from Iowa State University. I am passionate about advancing sustainable and profitable agriculture, and I am committed to working with integrity, collaboration, and innovation. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and I am eager to contribute to the success of AGP and its cooperative members.
