Design of ASME Pressure Vessels

Mechanical tooling design supporting new product introductions and upgrading existing manufacturing processes. Role included full CAD modelling with application of engineering principles, complete engineering documentation, process analysis and optimization, and quoting/ procurement of builds. • Developed custom assembly fixture to enable smooth transition and increased workability for newly designed product• Doubled production throughput through development of precision optical measurement tool • Created technical onboarding documentation to streamline departmental growth and ensure compliance with company standard practices

• Created on-demand 3D models and engineering drawings to machine components fixing high-urgency issues• Created and modelled large CNC fixtures which were introduced into the production line to reduce defect rates• Developed value added/engineering suggestions to reduce overall costs• Created and implemented visual aids to provide clarity for line workers to complete all required actions correctly, which resulted in a smooth transition to new model camshafts.• Assisted in developing next generation sliding camshaft technology.
