Profile bio

About Michael Paull

I have over a decade of experience leading multidisciplinary web development teams at the project and organizational level. My technical experience has spanned the tech stack, with special focus on JavaScript, front end web development, and CMS implementations. As a leader, I have managed, mentored, and trained individuals through career challenges and opportunities, and a common theme throughout my career has been bringing teams together around shared goals. My most recent technical work has been focused on building efficient solutions on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service that leverage the features of that platform best to support complex content strategies and workflows. This work has focused on getting the most out of that platforms tooling to deliver on the principles of atomic design systems and atomic omnichannel content strategies, a topic I was able to discuss at an event at Adobe Summit 2021. I have also delivered React-based JavaScript applications, both as part of an AEM implementation, and stand alone (Java Spring backed).I have also been focused on growing my team, both literally, as I have worked with recruiting and resource management in three countries, and figuratively, as I have had the joyful opportunity to mentor team members including new managers, senior developers, and brand new developers on my team and elsewhere in the organization. As an organizational leader, I have led knowledge sharing initiatives across organizations big and small, utilizing my formal training in journalism to help with diffusion of innovation, connecting team members, and training. At each organization I have been involved with, whether my role was design, delivery, or management, I have been involved in shaping the strategy and culture as well, and I have embraced this role fully in my current position.

Listed skills include Web Design, Web Development, Social Media, Cms, and 45 others.
