About Michael Provencher

The intersection of law, business, and technology is an area rich in innovation, opportunity, and even danger. It is a fascinating place, and I ensure that my firm and clients capitalize on these opportunities while avoiding the pitfalls of the evolving legal marketplace. I provide my clients with personal, ongoing service where I use both traditional methods and creative problem solving to meet their goals as peacefully as possible. I also leverage technology to do so both effectively and efficiently. Having worked for judges, legal clinics, nonprofit advocacy organizations, and small and large private firms, I understand the unique challenges of each organization and expectations of their clientele. By also studying law firm economics and investing in business development, I ensure that my firm rests upon a solid foundation, is continually strengthened through process improvement, and is run by a cohesive team — so that we can focus on doing the greatest good for our clients and community. Currently, I am seeking legal entrepreneurs interested in building a multidisciplinary practice together or, alternatively, an opportunity where I can leverage these skills to bring such results to other firms. I am licensed and admitted to practice law in North Carolina, and I am also eligible to waive into 34 other UBE states’ bars; consequently, I am open to strategic opportunities for expansion.
