For thirty years Michael has specialised in program, project and design management of a range of significant urban infrastructure development projects including defence training facilities, light rail, roads, services, heavy rail, materials handling, water and wastewater systems. The roles performed by Michael in a project management capacity have included client and stakeholder liaison, tender review, procurement, contract negotiation, contract administration, statutory authority liaison, value management, risk management, quality assurance audit and community liaison.The roles performed by Michael in design management have included proposal preparation, client liaison, contract management, design progress monitoring (against deliverables, time and budget), design review and delivery for both concept and detail designs.In the first five years of his career, Michael’s experience focused on investigation, concept design, detail design and documentation preparation for urban infrastructure development, and management of infrastructure development contracts.
