Responsible for all aspects of production involved in a supervisory position including, but not limited to: Union cooperation, scheduling, operations, product flow, inventory control, production requirements, regulatory and safety compliance, personnel issues and terminations, and reviews of operators for Defense and Space Electronics Systems department on first shift. Managed various areas within the department, with hourly staffs between ten and forty individuals. Directly involved in setup and procedure establishment of new LEAN and 6-Sigma-oriented production cells, continuous improvement processes and management systems.
