In 2004, after serving as a partner at both Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, I left the Big-4 arena and joined Bennett Thrasher, one of the larger non-national accounting and consulting firms in Atlanta to lead its Accounting and Assurance practice. From 2009 to mid-2014, I served as the Firm’s Managing Partner and President, and have recently wrapped up my administrative tour of duty with the Firm to again fully engage in both the Financial Reporting & Assurance and the Dispute Resolution & Forensics practices.My assurance clients range from companies in the development or startup stage to large multi-national corporations. I have served multi-national companies operating in the industrial products, telecommunications, service, pharmaceutical, restaurant, hospitality, construction, real estate, technology, and healthcare industries, as well as large not-for-profit healthcare providers. I also have significant experience in merger and acquisition due diligence, commercial dispute resolution including acting as a neutral arbitrator, leading Independent Review Organization (IRO) engagements, corporate investigations, accounting position consultation and research, and other engagements of a consultative nature.
