Management and oversight of global tax issues for a medical device company operating in 50 countries in three divisions with revenues of $1.4 Billion.Advised division CFO, foreign controllers, and shared service centers on tax issues impacting the company and it subsidiaries. Planning and implementation of worldwide tax minimization strategies including intellectual property migration, R&D cost sharing, Subpart F minimization, debt pushdowns, foreign tax credit utilization, withholding tax minimization, transfer pricing, R&D credit study, and state and local tax planning.Coordination and review of worldwide tax provision ASC 740/FAS109 for a consolidated group of approximately 50 entities.Advise on due diligence, purchase accounting, and planning and process integrations for acquisitions.
