At Crystal Mountain, Washington’s premier ski destination and a subsidiary of Alterra Mountain Company, I oversaw Finance, Accounting, IT, and Revenue Management as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. I led business planning processes, analyzed and recommended new business opportunities, and launched successful initiatives that significantly improved visitation and operational efficiency. I also developed a financial training program for operational managers, enhancing their business acumen and focus on financial performance.

As CFO, I led the expansion and implementation of accounting and finance systems, supporting significant topline growth and improved profitability. I established strategic plans, negotiated credit facilities, optimized operational processes, and implemented effective tax strategies. Additionally, I managed the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, enhancing overall financial stability.

I conducted buy-side and sell-side due diligence for numerous M&A transactions, prepared financial plans, and delivered detailed client reports. I managed cross-functional teams, ensuring comprehensive advisory services and effective client outcomes.

At Mammoth Mountain, I managed a comprehensive finance team, overseeing finance, accounting, purchasing, and treasury functions. I played a key role in the 2004 sale of the company, streamlined financial processes, led annual budgeting, and directed tax planning and compliance.
