INDUSTRIES FOR THE BLIND, INC. – MILWAUKEE, originally founded in 1948 as a manufacturing company, is a nonprofit organization with the goal of attracting federal government businesses, who are mandated by the Javits-Wagner-O’Day (JWOD) Act, to buy products and services from blind and visually-impaired manufacturers and organizations and expand blind.

Plans, develops, and executes policies and objectives for sales, marketing and customer service in accordance with the organization’s objectives.

Promoted Advanced ATC, Inc. as the preferred private technical school for accelerated Air Traffic Control training and FAA CTO Certification. This encompassed the execution of nation-wide recruiting activities for placement, identification of new recruitment sources, and developing new business opportunities and strategies.

Flawlessly organized and executed more than 125 multi-vendor implementations across regions over 3 years and directed operations for more than 120 Reprographic and Document Management sites across the Western and Southeastern U.S. with an annual revenue of more than $1,100.000.00.

Managed a region consisting of 8 Southern states that purchased in excess of $51,000,000.00 of products produced by blind workers from more than 70 different agencies.

Served as the manager and principal advisor for the training development, information technology training and quality assurance of the U.S. Army Recruiting Schools curriculum. Directed and managed the daily operations of the U.S. Army Recruiting School with 80 Military Instructors, 25 Classrooms and an annual attendance in excess of 4000 students.
