As a result, the martial arts provide a philosophical and practical under-pinning for my trial work, where I apply technical, tactical and strategic options to advance my clients’ interests. Over the years I have applied martial arts wisdom defending clients from hundreds of millions in liability exposure and capturing extraordinary recoveries for clients involved in a wide range of disputes, from aircraft engines to agriculture, from architects to attorneys’ malpractice. Fewer and fewer large cases actually go to trial. Fewer and fewer lawyers actually try cases. I do. Armed with my martial arts background, I actually enjoy and am fulfilled by the trial process.
