Responsible for identifying corporate sponsors, negotiating their sponsorship agreements, and creating unique and customized marketing and advertising platforms working directly with the sponsors and their respective agencies. Conceptualize sponsorship marketing initiatives involving television and radio inventory, signage, team elements, in-store promotions, concepts involving the team's marks and logos, and internet/ social media-based initiatives. A sample of the sponsors for which I have negotiated sponsorship packages on behalf of the Dallas Mavericks includes The Patron Spirits Company, Brinker International (Chili’s), Studio Movie Grill, Red Bull, Office Depot, Sharp Television, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Firestone Tire Company, Sonic Drive-In, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), NAPA Auto Parts, Methodist Health Systems, Overhead Door, Texas Army National Guard, KPMG, Neiman Marcus and Rolex. Created a multi-layered sponsorship relationship with Brinker International for its Chili’s restaurant concept involving signage and team elements as well as the construction of the first branded, full-service restaurant within the American Airlines Center.Took green initiative concept and created a multi-platform sponsorship between PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and the Dallas Mavericks which includes signage, hospitality and the “Trees for Threes” community campaign. Each of the past six seasons, we have planted an average of three hundred and thirty, fifteen-foot-tall trees in Dallas area parks and in DISD schools, representing one tree for every home “3 Pointer” made by the Mavericks during each respective regular season.Created the charitable fundraiser, "Generational Equity Jingle Bell Run", benefitting the Mavericks Foundation and the Trinity Strand Trail Foundation, which has raised over $600,000 in the past six years. Naming rights partnership has recently been extended through the year 2020.
