Consultant to review malignant and non-malignant hematology proposals, oncology proposals and cellular therapy proposals.

Providing extensive expertise to review of hematology-oncology related synopses, protocols, and protocol writing as well as non-malignant hematology and rare disorders including gene therapies utilizing adoptive cellular mechanisms and cellular engineering. Extensive experience with protocol writing and editing, interacting with the FDA. providing educational materials to make the difficult easy to understand and providing guidance to working with advocacy groups, particularly in the pediatric arena.

Vice President Scientific Solutions (Oncology Franchise): internal and external adviser and consultant to everyone in Worldwide Clinical Trials working on hematology & oncology related work and working with those biotechs, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic companies and investigators wanting/needing to engage a CRO to collaborate on all aspects of clinical trials. Work includes advisory role on protocol writing, protocol formation, CSR, publications, advisory groups, etc. High concentration on immuno-oncology therapeutics building on vast experience at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Merck, both of which involved clinical education of employees and those interacting with pharmaceutical companies as well as directing investments in trials of innovative I-O designs, advancing the use of checkpoint inhibitors.

Currently working at Bristol-Myers Squibb in above mentioned position. Previously held a number of positions at Merck including, National Science Director-Oncology, then Exec Dir Scientific Affairs-Oncology, then Exec Med Dir-Oncology in Regional Medical Director program. Medical Affairs position working with all oncology and HIV products, also assisting with ID and Zoster Vaccine products. Launch of Zolinza, Emend for moderately emetogenic chemotherapy, Sylatron, Emend for Injection for highly emetogenic chemotherapy. Extensive preparations for upcoming launches of oncology products. Key educator for oncology field personnel and marketing directors. Coordinator of HIV education and planning for regional medical directors. At BMS, role primarily with strategic key accounts. At BMS, launching several new Immuno-Oncology products and indications, development of over pediatric oncology I-O plan, development of new pediatric oncology survivorship RFP, and extensive clinical education of the oncology MSLs.

As stated in this link, I was a full professor of Pediatrics and was a division head at the A. I. duPont Hospital for Children. I resigned from my position at the duPont Hospital for Children at the end of August 2005 but maintained my position as a Professor of Pediatrics at the Jefferson Medical College until the summer of 2016 when I resigned after having moved permanently to Florida.

Providing malignant hematology, non-malignant hematology and oncology support for Medical Affairs in addition to providing ongoing support to the HIV franchise, Hepatitis C franchise, CMV vaccine development franchise, and franchise developing an attenuated zoster vaccine for those with significant immune suppression.
