Michael led a team of Product Management and other disciplines in development of the Precision Oncology Platform which helps drive better insights, clinical outcomes, and reduce costs of the Patient Journey. He has led the adoption of standard terminology in the Platform for Labs, Drugs, Procedures, and Diagnostic Codes, the adoption of Datavant for accurate death dates, and the use of Verato for an improved MPIID. All of these Platform Improvements have significantly improved data quality, data insights, and increased revenue for Population Health And PrecisionQ product lines

Michael also worked across the pillars of Watson Health to adopt a common Analytics Workbench based on the new IBM Watson Studio in compliance with numerous data security and privacy regulations. Michael was also the Offering Manager for Watson Health for ResearchKit which launched the the Sleep Health study with the American Sleep Apnea Association and Apple ResearchKit.
