In his current role, Mr. Fassbach leads an effort to work directly with state education agencies to improve school participation rates in international studies and assessments by providing training, technical support, and outreach assistance. Additionally, Mr. Fassbach supports states, large urban school districts, and private school organizations in large scale national assessment programs. Other responsibilities include working with former chief state school officers and school district superintendents to promote outreach in education agencies, creating and implementing professional development resources for state education agency and school district staff, and promoting general assessment literacy.
