Led a staff of 46 with a budget of $15 million.• Stabilized and improved distressed balance sheet due to a market downturn during 2016, leading two successful primary equity offerings raising $437 million used to reduce high debt level.• Prepaid and repurchased $350 million of debt in 2016 saving $8 million on discounted debt repurchase and reduced annual interest costs $13+ million.• Partnered with executive team to execute on a $20+ million cost reduction initiative in 2016 due to energy market downturn realizing $18 million in annual savings. Assisted in identifying high cost mines and plants for closure reducing operating costs.
