Led a staff of 46 with a budget of $15 million.• Stabilized and improved distressed balance sheet due to a market downturn during 2016, leading two successful primary equity offerings raising $437 million used to reduce high debt level.• Prepaid and repurchased $350 million of debt in 2016 saving $8 million on discounted debt repurchase and reduced annual interest costs $13+ million.• Partnered with executive team to execute on a $20+ million cost reduction initiative in 2016 due to energy market downturn realizing $18 million in annual savings. Assisted in identifying high cost mines and plants for closure reducing operating costs. Efforts improved profitability and generated positive operating cash flows beginning in late 2016. • Refinanced the Company’s remaining $780 million in debt in late 2017 with a new $700 million, 5-year term loan and a $125 million 5-year revolving credit facility, further reducing total debt by $30 million, saving an additional $1 million in annual interest costs.• Directed corporate development including the process to identify new sand reserves in Texas and Oklahoma, negotiating long-term lease agreements for a $44 million investment securing 200 million tons of reserves, versus purchasing the reserves for in excess of $250 million.
