My career has taken me from software engineering at IBM to helping launch the global outsourcing industry. Along the way, I had the pleasure of co-founding the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), serving on corporate boards, producing and speaking at hundreds of events around the world, and even writing a book - The Outsourcing Revolution: Why It Makes Sense and How to Do It Right (Dearborn, 2004) - which former Apple CEO John Sculley described as a "clear and compelling road map [that] leads the reader through the systemic reinvention of work."Most recently, I've launched myself into the academic world and am a doctoral candidate (DBA) at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). My dissertation, which I will defend in December 2024, is on overcoming organizational barriers to social intrapreneurship (SI).
