I led the strategic evaluation, and ultimately sale of this business unit, including creation of deal materials, presentation of the asset through each stage of the deal process, and oversight of due diligence. The result was the successful sale of the business to Nasdaq OMX in June 2013.

Managed a $100M Global Multimedia Communications business unit within the Corporate Services Division at Thomson Reuters. I had full P&L responsibility for the business, and was responsible for the strategic direction and day to day operations, overseeing operating centers in Boston, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Nuremburg, Sydney and Hong Kong. From 2005 to 2010, revenues grew at an 8% CAGR and margins grew by 40%. Results were achieved through a combination of organic growth via new products introductions, geographic expansion, and execution of strategic acquisitions.

Reporting to the President and CEO, I managed all aspects of customer service and marketplace operations for iMark.com, a business-to-business Internet marketplace for the exchange of new and surplus capital assets. Using $12 million in seed and venture funding, iMark.com created a robust Internet exchange with over 20,000 users within nine months of market introduction. iMark.com was acquired by FreeMarkets, Inc. for $240 million in March 2000.
