I am a passionate and experienced physiotherapist with a work history covering public sector roles in emergency, acute, sub acute and community services at a coal face and senior clinical level and private roles from private practice to professional sporting team support to senior clinical and management roles supporting Australian Defence Force personal. I am skilled in the management of sports and occupational Injuries, with a specific passion in the role that improved physical preparedness plays in optimising performance, minimising injury and facilitating robust and return to work and return to play. Beyond my undergraduate Physiotherapy training I have undertaken a Masters in Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy, and a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. In a research space I have an interest in the role of strength, power and biomechanics in relation to injury rehabilitation and mitigation of future injury risk progression of joint disease.
