I am a dedicated, driven worker, able to work as part of a team or as a supervisor, with a background in customer service, administration and data management, dealing with colleagues, customers, and external bodies, such as suppliers, contractors and financial organisations. In addition, I am involved in several local writers groups, and have previously written and performed with Blackburn Theatre Workshop.I also periodically work for a large national entertainment events company, Starfury Conventions, stewarding at science fiction conventions, which requires me to coordinate large crowds of people, many of whom have never been to an event of that nature before, while also handling a variety of queries to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible with minimum disruption.
