After 11 years in financial services, most recently in software project management and business analysis. I returned to school, and completed by BS in Mechanical Engineering at San Francisco State University. From my previous positions, I bring experience in project management, software test management and development, as well as general managerial and interpersonal skills.In addition to the general Mechanical engineering curriculum I have taken additional courses in CAD, welding, and manufacturing and machine shop processes. These skills set me apart from my classmates as an unusually well-rounded engineer.In my junior year, I was selected as a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, and graduated cum laude in July 2015.During school I consistently demonstrated leadership in my group projects, in addition to standing out as a superior designer, and builder.I am currently looking for my first position as a mechanical engineer. Though virtually all aspects of mechanical design fascinate me, my particular interests are in testing and quality management and materials science.
