At BulkHaul I came in with previous experience as I had designed, configured and installed the virtual environment in 2014 in my previous role at InnovTech. More recently I have overseen the procurement of our Infrastructure upgrade and its replacements/upgrades over the years, this included Server, Software, Storage, Security and backup.Today my role at Bulkhaul varies but my daily duties include : - Management of the Live and DR VMWare Environment, Hosts and Nimble SAN - Management of the VEEAM Backup product and the backup SAN - Management of the Windows Servers- Management and monitoring of the Novell SLES Linux Environment - Managing Novell GroupWise and eDirectory - Management of Active Directory and the Windows Server Environment including SQL Server. - Implementation/Administration of the Zero Trust Anti-Virus solution.- Management of the HP Pro Curve Switch infrastructure from the core to the edge.- Management and security of the routers including VPN’s between sites across the world.- Implementation/Administration of the web/email filtering solution across the group of companies.- Zabbix monitoring across the Windows and Linux servers.- Office 365 Management/implementation for remote offices.- Nessus internal security audits.Many of the solutions now in place at Bulkhaul i have procured, upgraded or implemented a new solution to increase our security or resilience across the business.Notable Projects :- Implement Remote Desktop Services for a remote office- Implementation of Email filtering and a cloud web proxy across the full group of companies- move to a full DR voip solution for the UK.- Firewall replacement/upgrades across remote sites and in the UK.- MPLS replacement using VPN- Zero Trust anti-virus procurement/install and migration.- Full site CCTV replacement- Secure Remote working solution for the UK and remote offices during the Covid pandemic over 500 users working at home in under a week.

• Integral part of the Virtualisation Project team, from designing the infrastructure, to the implementation on the newest blade platform and market leading storage area network solution.• Designed, installed and configured one of the market leading storage area network solutions, utilising virtualised storage technology consisting of 337TB of replicated storage. This storage solution is at the leading edge of technology and forms the core of a large virtualised environment that requires high performance and 100% availability to maintain strict and tightly managed SLA's. Responsibility for the monitoring, expansion and utilisation of the SAN to ensure targets are always maintained and issues are rectified prior to major incidents or downtime.• Project Managed the delivery of a self-service password reset utility for 5000 users. Responsible for examining the market and choosing a shortlist of products, testing, proof of concept and purchasing through to implementation of the final solution. Management of the resultant training program,• Implementation of an end point security solution for 5000 users.• Implementation and support of Citrix XenApp Farm.• Deployment of an enterprise monitoring tool solution for a suite of 600 Servers, including SQL, ORACLE and Virtual environment monitoring.• Key member of the Desktop Strategy team. Responsibilities include; investigating and contributing to the future desktop strategy of the Shared Service. Designing and implementing a VDI solution for proof of concept, from the VDI supplier to the backend storage area network.

Working in a project implementation team designing and implementing the following.• Main technical server contact for new housing service, including building new domain using Active Directory 2008, Exchange 2010, MS Forefront Threat Management Gateway (ISA), AppSense, Certero, SCCM, Windows 7• Involved in the design (image, solution architecture) and rollout of a VDI trial solution to 50 users.• Involved in a project replacing RSA with a new usb certificate solution and Single Sign on.

Responsible for the availability of services and systems within Xentrall shared services.

• Project technical lead - Implementation and Deployment of WSUS to manage 2500 clients including an operating system service pack upgrade rollout.• Implementation of open source imaging system to standardise a build and for the End User Support team to rollout machines up to 20 at a time.• Responsible for the management of a team of contractors. • Secondment to Senior End User Officer • Implemented Intranet for ICT with FAQs for 3000 users
