I served on the Board of Catholic Challenge Sports as the Director of Sports Logistics. Catholic Challenge Sports is a non-profit recreational sport league in the Kansas City area. My responsibilities in this role included arranging the venues where our sports and events are held, overseeing participant registration, and serving as a liaison for the Board in the operation of a sport season.

I was a project engineer in the Thermoforming and Printing Department at Berry Global. My responsibilities included safety projects, both preventative and corrective, cost reduction projects, and maintenance related projects. My current projects include finding root cause for a recurring print quality issue, automating a machine loading process to increase operator efficiency, and implementing chemical filling stations to reduce employee exposure to potential splash hazards.

As a Recreation Center Supervisor, I am responsible for opening and closing the Rec Center, and the safety of students and faculty as they use the facilities and equipment in the Recreation Center. I also am responsible for maintaining a clean facility and enjoyable atmosphere.

I was a mechanical engineering intern at Orbital ATK's Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. I performed a variety of tasks, from taking product measurements for statistical analysis, to procedure and document reviews, to hand-loading ballistic samples. I was involved several projects, including designing a modification to a part rejection mechanism to improve efficiency, and failure analyses to determine and correct root causes of undesirable product performance.Following a deadly accident at the plant, I was assigned to an engineering team performing sensitivity testing of energetic materials. I was involved in both the preparation of energetic samples and a variety of testing methods on those samples. During this time I was responsible for safely handling and disposing of explosive materials, as well as operating several pieces of sensitivity testing apparatus. All parts of the operation were time sensitive, as the results were part of the critical path to getting the plant fully operational again.

As a busser, I was responsible for greeting and seating customers, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and assisting servers with their responsibilities.

I assisted customers with questions and product selection, assembled products, including setting up pump systems for fountains, and assisted delivery team with large orders. I worked full time at Pottery World while also still working part time at Leatherby's.

As a lifeguard I was responsible for patron safety on the Club premises, checking memberships at the gate, and maintaining proper pool chemical levels. I also taught swim lessons to groups of students ranging from 4 years old to 13 years old.
