michael@integralasset.co.za I started my career in financial planning shortly after graduating with my Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Management in 2011 from UNISA and completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning through the University of Free State in 2016. I have keen appreciation and enthusiasm for the financial industry.My work style is flexible, working on many different tasks requires me to be adaptive. I try work on one task at a time, working as quickly but efficiently as possible to achieve the highest results. While I complete my work independently, I value input and will consult with team members to ensure that I am on the right track.I am an avid sportsman and enjoy spending my free time training and cycling, having actively competed in a number of long distance single and multi-stage cycling road race tours including eight 947 Cycle Challenges, five Cape Town Cycle Tours and have recently taken up triathlons having completed two half Ironman 70.3 and six full Ironmans and one Comrades marathon. I have had the privilege of having competed in the 2022 Ironman World Championships held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and will be doing so again in October 2024.I have also completed 1x Virtual Everesting Challange which involved cycling one hill, on an indoor smart trainer, on the Zwift platform, called the Alpe du Zwift, repetitively, until reaching the elevation of Mount Everest, which is 8 848m to be exact. After 218kms, I completed the challenge in 11 hours and 38 minutes and ascended 9002m and raised over R31 000 which was donated to the Give of the Givers Foundation to assist those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
