About Michael Fyffe
I'm a passionate developer who enjoys contributing to and ensuring the growth of Free and open-source software (FOSS). I also enjoy being part of a team in which unique skillsets can converge and produce something amazing that would have been hard if not impossible to do alone.When i first came into the industry i started out as a software developer with a strong belief in Test-Driven Development, maintaining quality and reducing risk via Build/Deployment pipelines both locally and on servers. When i transitioned roles from developing application to building and configuring infrastructure i was proud to be able to bring the best practices from my previous world into my current and explore a new type of development known as infrastructure as code.Recently i've been spending time helping Voxpupuli ( the puppet community ) maintain their zoo of puppet modules along with releasing my own. I also help contribute to approved and experimental Powershell DSC modules.My Area of expertise include:Puppet, Build/Deployment Pipelines, Google Cloud, Test-Driven Development, Automating everything, Powershell DSC, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Distributed Architecture, Windows Server Administration.
