Earned UMGC’s Outstanding Faculty Award each of the last seven years from 2016-2024. Served as UMGC practitioner-representative to the Quality Review Team for national re-accreditation of the University’s Master of Arts in Teaching Program. Possess Administrator I and Advanced Professional Teaching Certificates from the Maryland State Department of Education. Updated American Red Cross Instructor Training Certification in 2024, and possess multiple public safety and emergency management training certificated courses.
