International Marketing Director
Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer and as a member of the global marketing leadership team, I served as the director of international marketing for Kenexa (now IBM Smarter Workforce), a then NYSE listed HR consultancy and tech business that specialised in helping multi-national organisations recruit and retain the very best talent and transform business performance. Major milestones during my time at Kenexa, included:* Growing the EMEA region from a $6m company in 2006 to $68m in 2012.* Managed an international team of 10 marketing professionals located in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific and managed a $7m global marketing budget * Led the marketing launch and go to market strategy of Kenexa into a number of new markets including Australia, China, Germany, India, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates* Significant M&A experience: Managed the marketing integration of HRC, Quorum International, Salary.com and Ashbourne Assessment into Kenexa* Organised and led networking events in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, South Africa, UAE, Qatar, Australia, China, India and Hong Kong. High profile speakers included: Lord Sebastian Coe, General Sir Mike Jackson, former head of the British Army, the author Malcolm Gladwell and Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google.* Doubled the attendance of Kenexa’s annual World Conference, European and Asian Summits* Over 1,700 badge scans at our stand during a three day 2011 SHRM exhibition in the United States.* Created online networking communities for HR leaders in India and the Middle East * Achieved regular coverage in both national media (including the Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Times of India, Gulf News, Shanghai Daily) and HR trade press (including: People Management, Human Resources, Personnel Today and Management Today)
