Responsibilities include management of direct sales teams in Japan, China, Singapore, Australia and Canada; and management of various indirect channels throughout Asia and Latin America. Responsible for driving growth; market and channel development, new product introductions and all customer facing responsibilities. During this time I oversaw an organizational growth from 5 employees to over 40 employees in several international subsidiaries; with sustained continous growth.

Moved to the Fluke International Sales Organization to manage the transition of sales for the recently acquired Philips Test & Measurement products to the Fluke Intercon sales organization. This included Asia/Pacific, Latin America, Canada, Israel and South Africa. Responsibility included cross-training the Fluke and the Philips sales organization on each other's products, market development and new channel development for the Philips products. During this time was responsible for driving 30%+ CAGR of the Philips industrial test products (digital, analog and combinational oscilloscopes, frequency counters, ScopeMeters, RCL Meters, TV Signal Generators) within the region.

Moved to the new Networking business unit to provide field sales support in the NW region (WA, OR, ID, MT, AK and No. CA) for the first networking test products from Fluke, including the LANMeter (TokenRing), 620 Cable tester and the DSP-100 Digital Cable Analyzer. This included training the Fluke field sales force on current networking technologies; providing pre-sales support in terms of product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts and help to close orders. Also was responsible for recruting and training 3rd party sales reps in the NW region; successfully bringing on new channel partners in every region; and driving significant growth for the business in the NW region.

Responsible for the technical pre-sales of a broad range of electronic test & measurement products within the Rocky Mountain region for Fluke. Included the general purpose equipment (oscilloscopes, counters, and signal sources), the Board Test group (manufacturing defect analyzers, functional test (bed-of-nails), and microprocessor emulation systems), and the Data Acquisition group. Job responsibilities included pre-sales demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, custom code development for IEEE-488 control of instrumentation for manufacturing test and R&D applications, as well as post-sales support including training and custom application support to end customers. Also provided seminars and hands-on workshops targeted at end users.

Irvine, Ca

Responsible for the management of Fluke's service and calibration laboratory in Irvine, CA, with a staff of over 10 technicians and administrators. Included operation of regional repair/calibration depot for handheld multimeters as well as repair/calibration for entire line of Fluke products and calibration laboratory support. The lab handled over 9000 work orders per year; provided over 95% TAT of 5 days or less. The lab also provided service for contracted customers, providing repair and calibration for a broad range of electronic test & measurement from vendors such as H/P, Tektronix, Keithley, LeCroy, Nicolet, and many others.

Responsible for managing a staff of 6 technicians providing the recall, repair, calibration and service support for Philips Test & Measurement in the Western half of the US. This included managment of labs in Southern California and Northern California, as well as several second-party authorized repair/calibration partners throughout the West. Also provided technical pre-sales support to the Philips Test & Measurement sales organization and post-sales training support for end customers. Job included frequent travel to the Netherlands for factory training on all products, including the Philips Professional Video equipment in Copenhagen.

Managed the Anaheim calibration laboratory for Lear Siegler Corporation; providing repair and calibration for electrical and electronic test and measurement equipment.

Mcas(H), Tustin, Ca

NCO In Charge (Sergeant, E-5) of the MAG-16 (3rd MAW) Level III repair and calibration lab at Tustin MCAS (H) base; providing repair and calibration services for electrical and electronic test and measurement equipment (Communications, navigation, electrical avionics systems); physical (torque and pressure); ; managing over 10 Marines in the lab. This included flight line test equipment as well as bench test sets for the communications (HF, VHF, UHF and secure communications) and navigation (radio altimeter, TACAN, and IFF) avionics on CH-46 and CH-53(D/E) Marine Corps helicopters. The lab supported 6 active flying squardrons (HMM- and HMH- that rotated annually for West Pac deployments and 2 training squadrons (HMT-311); all which provided rotary wing assets to the 1st Marine Division.
