I am proud to have worked for Vonachen Group as their Regional Human Resources Manager in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and Northern Illinois. Based out of Wausau, WI, I supported the Northern Region with almost 600 employees, thirty managers, two directors and two verticals. North Star Mohican Casino Resort: I managed a nine-member Human Resources Team responsible for direct hire recruiting, screening, orientation, training, development and retention of personnel in twelve departments including gaming, non-gaming, technical, supervisor, manager and director level opportunities. Specific projects include proposals to Tribal Council revising progressive discipline, attendance, drug testing, leave of absence, preference, grievance and formal complaint policies. Overall wage analysis and recommendations submitted to Tribal Council for adoption. Comprehensive additions made to employee benefits plans including employee discount program, departmental incentive plans, wellness / gym reimbursement, recognition / reward programs and perfect attendance incentives. Administration, contract negotiation & maintenance of medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, flex spending, 401K and workers compensation plans. Tribal / Casino / Resort total almost 900 total employees. Recruited, orientated and trained 162 employees in initial 6 months with less than five percent new hire turnover. Improved overall employee retention despite competition raising starting pay well above our wages. Individually direct hire recruited six executive level managers to North Star Mohican Casino Resort. Oversee 470 employees in four states: WI, KY, MS and SC. Improved employee two-year minimum retention from 73 to 94% eliminating usage of staffing agencies. Negotiated NO increased employee costs in medical & dental insurance for 2015, 2016 and 2017. Overall Company costs for employee benefits have declined 3 years running increasing profitability.

Adecco Staffing: Rebuilt and established Wausau Branch Office as a proven resource to employers of choice in Central WI for sourcing and retaining exceptional talent in light industrial, administrative and professional positions. $2Million Sales within first year in position as Account Executive; quickly promoted to Branch Mgr. Top 10% in Company Ranking for Customer Satisfaction among 1700 Branch Offices in the US. Exceeded New Business Development Goals for Branch within initial year of Branch Manager position.
