Directly managed and maintained 120 incoming freshman. Was their mentor, shoulder to cry on, and disciplinary force. It was extremely difficult to balance on two levels, within the job and with school. Within the job it was hard to gain the trust of my peers and also keep their respect and hold authority. With school it was difficult to maintain the rigorous course-load I wanted and also give my full attention to a job that really was 24hrs a day.

Worked on a Ranch in Northern California over two summers in Highschool. Feed cattle, horses, goats. Tended to Grapes. Ate the Weeds. Mowed the Lawns. Dug the Trenches. Mended the Fences. Rode the ATV. Manned the Backhoe. General Labor.
