IM2 Fermentation And Insulin Recovery

I've been hired for half a year to support IM2 utility team. The plant does fermentation of Insulin producing yeast and the first capture step of the following purification.My role is to facilitate the project team in optimizations in order to encrease capacity to ensure delivery coresponding to growing demand.

I'm representing the first section (2 HLPC steps, crystalization and centrifugation) of purification during inspections of Degludec (Tresiba and Ryzodeg) process.As process supporter I've acted as problem solver with the focus of keeping production up and going. I was dooing a litterature study for the R&D department about new treatment of read meat from tuna fish.

My masters thesis concerned genetic development of a lactic acid bacteria strain to produce high value chemicals from low value wast products.During my bachelor I focused on general genetic engineering tools and method improvement.Through my time at DTU I have developed skills of communication, organisational management on top the technical skills taught.

Concerning subject of: cell cultivation, growth control, contamination management, growth evaluation.We taught the practices of: running a lab protocol, simple statistics about the results, using wide variety of lab equipment.
