Supervise & mentor four staff members (Senior Analyst, Analyst, Fixed Assets Contractor and Cash Accountant)Supervise the accounting and reporting for Tenneco’s HQ Corporate Accounting functions and personally manage the defined-benefit, defined-contribution and post-retirement liabilities for the U.S. as well as supervise and coordinate the accounting and reporting for Tenneco’s non-U.S. defined-benefit pensions, including quarterly and annual reporting disclosures.Ensure proper accounting for Tenneco’s third-party debt and equity transactions, including stock options, stock appreciation rights, and restricted stock grants, as well as preparation of related footnotes and disclosures in the quarterly and annual reports.Work with Tenneco’s General Counsel, Corporate Controller and Environmental Health & Safety personnel as part of the team that sets policies, analyzes, reviews and adjusts Tenneco’s environmental liabilities worldwide.Maintain personal control over the accounting for Tenneco’s medical, dental and vision benefits by working with all parties to ensure the integrity of the balances reported and posted to the general ledger

Primarily responsible for maintaining client’s accounting software (Great Plains Dynamics) as well as supervising the day-to-day administrative operations for twenty-three syndicated real estate partnerships and forty corporate entities.Supervised and reviewed the preparation of tax and GAAP workpaper preparation and 10Q/K reports for eleven syndicated real estate partnerships and reviewed the preparation and distribution of month end workpapers for client’s corporate entities.
