Reorganized the project control procedures for Marathon Oil’s Eagle Ford facilities management program. Reorganized the program schedule to a WBS level, and resource loaded activities with approved budgets. Created a database to combine schedule data from Primavera P6 and cost data from SAP (BW reports). This system was used to produce reports for monthly accruals, forecasts, cash flows and budget variance analysis and other ad hoc reports. Created an earned value reporting system and a cost tracking system. Presented financial spreadsheets and forecast reports in the monthly financial meetings. Worked with Marathon’s engineering and accounting teams to ensure that monthly and quarterly forecasts and monthly accruals were correct. Supported development and adjustments of yearly capital and expense budgets. Provided mentoring and training to Marathon Oil’s junior project control personnel.

Developed / managed cost and schedule controls on numerous concurrent Federal construction jobs. Led the monthly forecasting effort, which required working with project managers and accounting staff, to produce monthly forecast/variance reports. Worked change order management within the CMiC cost/accounting system. Created/provided cost reports and cost data to project managers. Created a variance report system to speed up the forecasting process. Provided scheduling services to the projects, including resource management through resource leveling, cost management and billings. Provided schedule impact analysis through "What if" scenarios. Performed cost analysis and cost reporting for both the construction and maintenance groups on capital projects within Marathon's Eagle Ford development. Developed a data collection system, which was used to report "real time" cost and work hour information to management. Also used this system to provide monthly accruals to the accounting department and monthly work hour reports to the safety department.

Developed a MS Access database to organize cost data from Marathon's SAP (FI) data system, which I then used to track costs on various capital projects within the company's Eagle Ford development. Analyzed and reported costs at both site and mid-level management. Tracked and provided monthly updates/variances for AFEs in Marathon's Gonzales area.
