I want to be the absolute best at my career. At Cracker Barrel I won the Employee of the Region award out of 6,700 staff. My first store consistently had top sales in the company for all holidays. Now as Acting GM, we are consistently #1 or #2 in the district for Staffing and Retention, Survey Scores, and Beverage Incidence. Why work if you're not going to excel? To achieve this, I focus on constant personal improvement and self-analysis, as well as using logic and results to hold my staff accountable and focused. I teach empathetically, build trust through consistency, and have a reputation of solution-making. Adapting to ever-changing situations and enforcing new company policies is key. I've organized my store to logical and efficient ends. I’ve designed checklists, order guides, and mindset rules for incoming managers to aid and to instruct them. My goal is to develop and empower our staff, improve systems, and thereby improve the entire brand.
