Surf Life Saving has a proud tradition of saving lives for over 100 years. Since 1907, surf lifesavers have volunteered their time and effort to provide a dedicated lifesaving service around the country.The Surf Life Saving Foundation is the fundraising body for Surf Life Saving in Australia.Surf Life Saving is one of Australia’s largest volunteer organisations and in my role as General Manager I focused on acquiring donors surrounding the 100th centenary of Surf Lifesaving. Over 20,000 new donors were added to the database and approximately $20m was raised across the organisation.
