Long Distance Manager
CurrentAs the Long Distance Manager at Bus Queensland my responsibilities include:o Manage the daily scheduling of transport fleet operations to meet customer and client requirementso Oversee operational staff including drivers, mechanics and subcontractors o Driving Bus Queensland's safety standards by always by ensuring that all rostering and operational activities meet all relevant legislative and fatigue management requirements o Assisting in the coordination of scheduled and unplanned maintenance, ensuring adequate availability of the transport fleeto Coordinating rosters, leave requirements and other operational issues on a day to day basiso Maintain regular contact with the customer service team to ensure the customer’s requirements are always delivered in full and on timeo Liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure operational activities are maintained in an efficient and coordinated manner o Adhering to all the Bus Queensland WH&S and legislative requirements to establish and enforce administrative procedures and policies o Manage operational service delivery through the application of efficient fleet management practices including the appropriate use of labour and equipment resourceso Lead, manage and motivate the transport team to achieve operational targets and objectiveso Complete and submit KPI performance measures and driver assessmentso Manage the sponsorship process o Reporting including Incident, financial, marketing, customer satisfactiono HR Assistance including job posting, interviewing prospective employees, inductiono Managing customer complaints processo Maintain and monitor all social media pages and the company website
