I come from a well-established sales background of over 22 years that includes work in insurance & staffing. Since 2008, I served as a Senior Business Development Associate for a Lead Generation firm in Frisco, TX, having won multiple Associate of the Quarter awards and handling client accounts such as Xerox, Capgemini, & FICO. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a BA in Government, and also a United States Navy veteran. My professional past includes over 20 years of combined military and sales experience, beginning in the U.S. Navy. In my 5 year tour I honed the concepts teamwork, organization, discipline, and performance under pressure. My sales experience began as a licensed insurance agent at AFLAC. In this 1099 inside & outside sales role, I learned the lessons of tenacity, persistence, and “thinking outside the box”, accumulating nearly 20 long term accounts under my name in 4 years that I personally serviced & managed. Beginning in 2004, I continued my sales role in the staffing industry as an agent for Resulte, and later Q&A Recruiting, and Randstad Holding (where I functioned as both sales agent & recruiter). During this time, I mastered the art of selling over multiple industries and verticals, including Finance & Accounting, IT, Administrative & Human Resources, Industrial, and Retail – having to learn the details of numerous job descriptions & the needs of various departments across multiple clients. Staffing also furthered my team experience as a liaison between clients and dozens of recruiters that I worked closely with to provide the best candidates possible. My industry experience culminated at VOLT Information Sciences as the Sales Manager for the North Dallas area. In 2008, I transitioned into Lead Generation, utilizing my years of outside sales experience to broker hundreds of meetings in that role. I continue such work at Aldridge as the Inside Sales presence for the company.
