As a seasoned technical manager with significant experience in SQL Server, Azure Data Tools and AI, Power Platform, as well as Microsoft Dynamics AX & F&SC, I have been at the leading edge of these technologies for over three decades. I have had the opportunity to architect and implement several projects in the Dynamics AX/F&SC and data space and have assisted in or been the principal in the go-live to Microsoft AX for several clients.In the Practice Director, Data and Analytics/Principal Architect role, I am responsible for scoping, design and technical architecture of data-centric projects. I managed a team of junior and senior architects, engineers and consultants. Responsible for monitoring practice job performance and providing coaching and guidance to team members. Responsible for initial client engagement and building a mutually beneficial, trusted advisor relationship with key personnel within the client organization. Handle client discovery through a consultative approach utilizing assessments. Understand project requirements and coordinates with proper departments and resources to ensure timely execution of the project. Deliver relevant content in a variety of form factors (white papers, webinars, training and in-person speaking) on a variety of technical topics.A significant part of my role as Director, Enterprise Data Management was the development of new offerings in the data space especially for digital transformation. These include, a Data Warehouse framework, a data quality offering and a performance tuning offering, just to name a few. Currently, I have been tasked with advancing opportunities and creating and supporting offerings in the analytics/digital transformation space, specifically for Microsoft Cortana Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science.Specialties: Performance Tuning, SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Dynamics AX, Power BI, SQL Server Replication and Panorama.
