SAI was a manufacturing-fabrication business which supplied seating packages, case goods (cabinetry), service counters and tables to the fast food industry. Install, Inc., a sister company, was a general contractor which performed remodels for the various restaurant chains for which we supplied product. Combined revenues were $25-$30 million. Served as CFO/Corporate Secretary and as a member of the management committee.Overall responsibilities included management responsibility for all aspects of accounting & financial reporting as well as IT, purchasing and inventory control. Highlights of Achievements• Enhanced costing and pricing model system used by engineers to quote prices• Created a gross profit report, by product, to evaluate quality of earnings• Recommended an innovative product warranty retrofit which reduced cost $150,000+ • Implemented vendor returns charge back system resulting in savings of over $20,000 annually• Successfully reduced uncollectible receivables $25,000 annually• Implemented an inventory reporting system to highlight slow moving & obsolete items which led to a reduction in write offs

AES was a manufacturing business which supplied electronic wire harness assemblies and printed circuit boards to the automotive industry. They also operated a sister company in Fullerton CA which supplied electronic wire harness assemblies to various industries. Combined revenues were $15-$20 million. Overall responsibilities included management responsibility for all aspects of accounting & financial reporting as well as IT, purchasing and inventory control.
